Amy's Wedding at The Doubletree Hilton in Rockville

I'm so excited to share a few pictures from Amy's beautiful red and white wedding at the Doubletree Hilton.  The designs were very simple and elegant but still made a real statement in a very unique ceremony setting.  The hotel is an open-air lobby and the ceremony was set up on a stage in the middle of it.  Imagine walking down the aisle in such a grand setting!  Thanks to Carl at Carl Elixir Photography for the stunning photos.  I love how bright and vibrant all the the red tones look against the dresses.

Amy's bouquet was made of red Hearts roses, red astilbe, red tulips, red calla lilies, and white hypericum berries.

The ringbearer had a small calla lily boutonniere and the flower girl wore a halo of white roses and carried a matching pomander.  How sweet!

What did I tell you about that magnificent ceremony?  Gorgeous!

I just love first-dance pictures, don't you?

Thanks again to Carl at Carl Elixir Photography for the beautiful pictures.

2010 arrangements for Bright Horizons

I created these arrangements for Bright Horizons Family Solutions, my employer at the time.  These were some of the first arrangements that I designed on my own.  I was completely honored that my supervisors would allow me to make the arrangements for such important events!

This was created as a simple arrangement for an awards banquet to honor the incredible teachers.  The banquet was held at Magianno's in Bethesda, MD.

These were created as a centerpiece that doubled as a raffle item for a holiday party that was given for the directors of the region.  This arrangement includes local holly, red Charlotte roses, and white Asiatic lilies.

These arrangements were created as a centerpiece for a board meeting.  I had no preparation time, so all flowers were purchased at the local grocery store!
