Wedding at Musket Ridge

One more wedding designed by Lisa Sommer, of Petals and Promises.  Lisa took on two weddings that weekend and asked me to help her create the designs, but also to carry out the delivery and set up at Musket Ridge--what a MAGNIFICENT setting it was!  We had a gorgeous fall day and the bride did a stunning job of creating decorations to compliment Lisa's designs.

The maid's bouquets are made with seeded eucalyptus, burgundy dahlias, deep red roses, antique green hydrangea, red hypericum berries, and tied with a green ribbon!  Yes, these gorgeous bridesmaids wore cowgirl boots!  Can you see those lovely mountains in the background?  You can't tell from the pictures, but the trees are in full color as well!

These rustic mason jars are filled with burgundy dahlias, yellow spider mums, deep red roses, and seeded eucalyptus.  Some were hung from wrought iron shepard's hooks and others were hung from the white chairs that created the aisle.

More work with Petals and Promises!

I wanted to post a few more pieces that I created for Lisa Sommer, of Petals and Promises.  She is a wonderful mentor to me, and in addition to running my own business, I am also able to carry out many designs that she creates for her own company, Petals and Promises.  Enjoy!

This placecard table arrangement is a 30 inch glass trumpet vase filled with curly willow, orange and burgundy mokara orchids, yellow calla lilies and accented with green bear grass.
These sweet, yet elegant table arrangements are simply varying sizes of glass cylinders filled with "drowned" yellow mokara orchids and topped with a floating candle.

This aisle arrangement is a 30 inch glass trumpet vase filled with curly willow, Bells of Ireland, white calla lilies, and white Dendrobium orchids.
These simple aisle arrangements are made of baby's breath and tied with a white satin ribbon.

This lovely bridesmaid bouquet is made of an orange protea pincushion, burgundy dahlias, orange roses, and tied with a burnt orange satin ribbon.
This gorgeous fall bridesmaid bouquet has seeded eucalyptus, burgundy dahlias, deep red roses, antique green hydrangea, and red hypericum berries.

Thank you again to Lisa Sommer of Petals and Promises, who continues to allow me to carry out her beautiful designs!

Brookeside Gardens, The Carnegie Institute and Woodend

As many of you know, in addition to running my own business, Sweet Blossoms, I am also lucky enough to assist Lisa Sommer of Petals and Promises in several of her wedding designs.  The images below are designed by Lisa, and created by me.  All images are used with her permission.

The wedding below took place at Brookeside Gardens.  I created several tall arrangements to flank a beautiful water fountain and we also decorated a stunning gazebo for the ceremony to take place under.

These arrangements are made with curly willow branches, Bells of Ireland, white hydrangeas, and white roses.  The gazebo is decorated with curly willow, white stock, and white roses.

This next wedding took place at the Carnegie Institute!  I helped to create a beautiful floral arch filled with flowers and candles for the ceremony, as well as several grand arrangements for the reception.
The arch is covered in several garlands of greenery, green hanging amaranthus, white stock, and white roses.  The aisle arrangements are with green hydrangea, seeded eucalyptus, white dahlias and hung with a white satin ribbon.  The tall arrangements are a 30 inch glass trumpet vase filled with curly willow, Bells of Ireland, white calla lilies, and purple liatris.

This final wedding took place at Woodend.  These beautiful outdoor ceremony arrangements contained curly willow, yellow calla lilies, yellow gerber daisies and yellow oncidium orchids.  The lighting was perfect!

I am so privileged to be able to learn from Lisa.  Her designs are lovely and I am thankful that I'm able to gain such experience by carrying out her designs!
