Laura's Wedding

This gorgeous yellow and navy blue wedding actually happened in North Carolina!  A friend of the bride's picked up the flowers and drove them personally to North Carolina the night before the wedding!  I'm sorry that I wasn't there to personally deliver the flowers but I know that Laura's wedding was a beautiful one, and full of love!  And that is what is most important!  I am so happy to be able to share these lovely designs with you!

Laura's bouquet was made of white hydrangea, white spider mums, white ranunculus, gardenias, and yellow freesia.  This bouquet smelled so heavenly!  The bridesmaids carried bouquets of yellow football mums, yellow carnations, white freesia and white hydrangea, "buttoned up" with yellow pins.  The groom's boutonniere was a yellow rose, german chamomile, and white freesia.  Such a sweet wedding!

Blue Weddings

Many brides would like to incorporate blue into their weddings but are unsure of how to accomplish this.  Since blue doesn't occur very much in nature, the flowers available are somewhat limited.  Hydrangeas, delphiniums, irises, thistles, and cornflowers come in several shades of blue.  Also, did you know that orchids, carnations, and mums can be dyed blue as well?  When thinking about using blue for your wedding, sometimes picking an accent color, and finding other ways to bring blue into your event, can be the best way to go.  Bridesmaid dresses, ribbon, and table linens are all great ways to ensure that the your color scheme is is exactly how you want it!  Below are some ideas!

Beth's wedding at Normandie Farm Restaurant

I have known Beth for many years and when she asked me to create some rustic yellow and green bouquets for her wedding, I jumped at the chance!  Beth asked me to use daisies throughout her ceremony and the end result was a beautiful, yet simple wedding.  Beth was one of the most beautiful and radiant brides I have ever seen and I was honored to be a part of her day!

Beth's bouquet was created with white peonies, Marguerite daisies, yellow tulips, white hydrangea, and german chamomile.  The bridesmaid bouquets were made of green hydrangea, Queen Anne's Lace, german chamomile, and white football mums.  The groom and groomsmen had boutonnieres made of yellow dahlias and yellow solidago that were pinned to their suspenders.  Beth's altar was decorated with white peonies, yellow tulips, and german chamomile and we lined her aisle with mason jars filled with daisies!

Michelle's wedding at the Crowne Plaza

Take a look at Michelle's gorgeous May wedding!  Michelle asked me to design a coral and purple wedding and had some very specific ideas about what she wanted!  This wedding was truly a collaboration and I'm thrilled to be able to share these photos with you!

Michelle's bouquet was made of white peonies, white gerber daisies, lavender tulips, purple freesia and Picasso calla lilies, and accented with deep purple french knot.  Her bridesmaid bouquets were made of white hydrangeas, coral Apache roses, and purple freesia.

Michelle's reception had two designs.  The first design was a glass cylinder filled with submerged purple dendrobium orchids, coral rose petals and a floating candle.  The second was a glass trumpet vase filled with curly willow, coral snapdragons, purple calla lilies and purple dendrobium orchids.  We even decorated the cake with a few coral roses!

It was clear that this was a wedding full of love and I am so happy to have been a part of it!
