The Oaks Waterfront Inn

I'm so happy to be able to share my initial pictures from the first Sweet Blossoms wedding of the season. Megan's wedding was set at a quaint little inn on the water in St. Michaels, MD. Please enjoy my yellow and white design for this waterfront wedding!

Megan's bouquet was made of white hydrangea, cream spray roses, white ranunculus, white astilbe, and yellow freesia, wrapped in white ribbon.

The bridesmaid's bouquets were white hydrangea, yellow spider mums, yellow ranunculus, yellow button mums, and yellow craspedia, wrapped in a navy ribbon to match beautiful blue dresses.

Megan's centerpieces were a simple and textured arrangement of white hydrangea, yellow spray roses, yellow tulips, yellow craspedia, and yellow spider mums.

Megan really wanted a rustic, country-inn feel for her ceremony. We used yellow forsythia, white hydrangea, and green amaranthus tails to give a wildflower look to the altar.

To compliment the altar arrangements, we created chair decorations made of white hydrangea and yellow forsythia, tied with a white ribbon.

To complete the rustic look, the ceremony was held under a covered bridge. Megan asked me to create a heart-shaped wreath covered in yellow and white spray roses to complete the look.

I was happy to oblige! I think this heart really set the look of this wedding.

Megan was a beautiful bride and I can't wait to share more photos!

St Francis Hall

Well wedding season is finally here! Mine started with a February wedding ceremony at All Saints Church in Chevy Chase, MD followed by a reception at the elegant St. Francis Hall in Washington, DC. This gorgeous pink and white wedding was designed by Lisa Sommer, of Petals and Promises and I'm so happy to share what I created for her!

This bouquet is made of white hydrangeas, white sweet peas, white lisianthus, pink calla lilies, white freesia, and pink roses.
