Sparkly bouquet

This bouquet was designed by Lisa Sommer, of Petals and Promises, LLC, and created by me!  This is, by far, the biggest bouquet I've worked on!  I enjoyed the new techniques I learned by using new flowers!  See the little white flowers with sequins in them?  Those are stephanotis--so delicate that you have to use gloves to handle them.  They smell AMAZING!

Geoff and Maria's wedding

This event was the first wedding I ever worked on that was completely my design.  The design was based on pictures from a centerpiece that I had previously created.  The lovely couple had their reception at the Fire Station One in Silver Spring, MD.  These arrangements include red Hypericum berries, burgundy Pom daisies, burgundy Button mums, white Polar Star roses, and peach High and Fire roses, decorated with dried wheat accents.

Easter 2010

These are some of my favorite creations!  These were designed for my mother's Easter brunch table.  The oooh's and aaah's that could be heard when guests entered my mother's dining room made all the hard work completely worth it!  I used button mums in different colors and white daisies to complete the eggs.

2010 arrangements for Bright Horizons

I created these arrangements for Bright Horizons Family Solutions, my employer at the time.  These were some of the first arrangements that I designed on my own.  I was completely honored that my supervisors would allow me to make the arrangements for such important events!

This was created as a simple arrangement for an awards banquet to honor the incredible teachers.  The banquet was held at Magianno's in Bethesda, MD.

These were created as a centerpiece that doubled as a raffle item for a holiday party that was given for the directors of the region.  This arrangement includes local holly, red Charlotte roses, and white Asiatic lilies.

These arrangements were created as a centerpiece for a board meeting.  I had no preparation time, so all flowers were purchased at the local grocery store!
