Cory and Sam's Wedding

On Labor Day weekend, I was honored to be both the florist AND a bridesmaid for one of my oldest friends, Cory's wedding at Lost Creek Winery in Leesburg, VA.  Cory and Sam wanted a rustic setting with simple flowers.  They gave me almost no direction, just a color scheme, and let me take charge.  Below are the preliminary photos of the design I came up with.

Sam's bouquet was made of white stock, white hydrangea, mini sunflowers, and white mini gerber daisies.  The bridesmaid bouquets were made of white hydrangea, white spray roses, yellow and white mini gerber daisies, thistles!! These were SO fun to work with! Cory's boutonniere (below) was a white calla, accented with yellow solidago and a blue thistle!  There were 3 centerpiece designs, each containing candles, white spray roses, white lisianthus, white stock, sunflowers, blue thistles, blue Brodea, white and yellow mini gerber daisies, and yellow solidago.  More pictures to come!

I have finally gotten back some pictures from Stephanie's beautiful wedding!  Stephanie's amazing photographer shared these lovely photos with me and I'm pleased to add them to my gallery!

*The bridal bouquet was made of cream spray roses, willow eucalyptus, white wax flowers, white Queen Anne's Lace, and Dusty Miller, accented with an ivory ribbon.
*The bridesmaid's bouquets were lavender calla lilies and Sterling roses.
*Stephanie wanted a modern and simple centerpiece made of purple spider mums and the boutonnieres were lavender calla lilies.
